The instructors are all highly trained with the Physiotherapy Australia approved Studio Pilates training.

Studio Pilates is a method of exercise founded by Joseph Pilates to train the body in a balanced way. It emphasises core strength, flexibility and coordination to support graceful movement. It can help to relieve stress, tension and pain. It also assists in rehabilitation after injury and surgery. It can play a significant role in the treatment of chronic and recurring back, neck and shoulder problems and helps in the prevention of sports injuries.

Clinical Pilates is a specialised form of Pilates performed under the supervision of a physiotherapist. It is most effective when prescribed and monitored by a qualified physiotherapist who can establish your individual program based on medical history, injury and treatment plan. This can be a great adjunct to your rehabilitation and can contribute to a better quality of life by improving posture, muscle strength, control, balance and pelvic floor and core stability.

Our physiotherapists are highly trained in the delivery of Clinical Pilates and can work closely with your GP or treating therapist to assess and determine the best course of action for you. If you are a NDIS participant and have been injured you may be able to claim for a physiotherapy led Clinical Pilates session under the ‘Improved Daily Living’ component of your funding.

Our classes are small and personalised, so you get the most out of each session. We encourage you to attend a trial class to see what we are all about! pilates wollongong
